Rob Kardashian is “doing really well” on his weight loss regimen so far.
The 28-year-old has been battling to shed the pounds for the last year. But following his family’s desperate pleas for him to take his diet seriously, Rob is said to have ultimately decided that the time has come to get his life back on track.
“For the first time in a long time Rob is committed to changing his diet habits,” a source told.
“He’s been working with a chef and doing really well.”
But it’s not just his food habits that Rob has changed. He has also been throwing himself into a rigorous workout plan in a bid to shape up.
He has been training hard with trainer to the stars Gunnar Peterson on a regular basis.
"His regimen involves more than just cardio and weights," the source added.
Rob called attention to his health transformation via Instagram.
He posted a throwback Thursday picture of himself drinking a sugary beverage on the social network, captioning the image with: “Started right here with these milkshakes hahaha”.
His older sister Kim, who has had a tempestuous relationship with her sibling over the past few months, recently tweeted that she has been helping Rob stay motivated when it comes to early morning workout sessions.
All of Rob’s sisters have been doing their utmost to support him as he battles to get himself back into shape.
Khloé lives with Rob and recently opened up about just what her brother has been going through.
“Rob definitely has his ups and downs, and he's been struggling for the past year and a half, maybe two years, which I think we've all had those times in our life,” she told. "Right now I'm really proud of him. He's been working out a little and trying to get his groove back. And he acknowledges it! He's aware that he's very introverted and of course not the way he used to be. I think being aware is probably the best thing."
