Victoria Beckham went for a gothic look at the Alexander McQueen Gala on Thursday night.
The former Spice Girls star is known for her love of wearing black. But while Victoria stuck to her signature shade as she attended the event alongside husband David, she sported a different look courtesy of some heavy eye make-up.
Victoria opted for a dramatic appearance with lashings of kohl liner and dark shadow.
The 40-year-old fashion designer wore her brunette hair in tumbling curls as she posed with bearded spouse David.
For her outfit, Victoria once again stuck to a tried and tested look in a strapless gown, which featured embellishments and delicate cut-outs.
However, the mother-of-four had some strong competition on the glamour front at the star-studded bash held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in the capital.
Hollywood stars including Salma Hayek, Naomie Harris and Colin Firth all dusted off their finest attire to make an appearance at the Gala.
Salma looked incredible in a tea-length peach and black strapless dress which featured a peacock design on the bustier and down the train.
She wore her dark brown hair slicked down at the top before it went out into a curly ’do, and completed her look with a pair of strappy black sandals.
Skyfall star Naomie opted for a more daring look than her fellow attendees, in a plunging red satin gown.
The dress highlighted the 38-year-old’s slim figure and was complemented by the actress wearing her raven locks loose and curly.
It wasn’t just actresses at the bash, with models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Erin O’Connor also looking effortlessly stunning as they posed for photographers before heading inside.
